Friday morning was a new beginning for 25 7th & 8th graders at Edna Middle school in Edna Texas. Lighthouse 2911, a non-profit organization attempting to reach at-risk youth in the Golden Crescent set up and facilitated an all day program called "Be The Change" aimed at helping teen-agers come to a better understanding of the resources available and the first sign of problems from bullying, name calling, racism, cliques, suicide, body image, and how to be part of the solution. It was Great! |
